Description
Upon moving to Washington, my husband developed a debilitating allergy to sulfites. While sulfites are found naturally in some foods and herbs, most of the sulfites we encounter are used as food preservatives and are a residue from food processing. Most conventional and processed foods do Not post sulfites under the ingredients label, even though they are present. Prior we were eating predominantly local and organic fresh food, but we found it harder to find shelf stable food. A huge contribution to my families' health and happiness is outdoor recreation, and with 2 little boys in tow, we need to be creative and pack smart. We had trouble finding freeze dried or dehydrated food without preservatives. Thrive Life Food was the answer. Because the food is freeze dried, there are no preservatives, like sulfites, and my husband can happily eat it! We are also increasing our emergency food storage supply with Thrive Life Food.
